Blackbird Melbourne is set across three levels at Collins Place. The top floor is given over entirely to private dining and events, with its own dedicated bar and an adjacent cocktail lounge for arrival drinks or a reception afterwards.

A versatile mid-sized room suited to team dinners, networking functions and milestone celebrations that want a balance of space and privacy.

An intimate room for small groups wanting a private experience while still enjoying the buzz of the venue. Well suited to client dinners.

Sparkling, white, rose, red, premium beer and cider, soft drinks and juice. Arrival cocktails $17 each. A consumption bar tab is also available.
Premium upgrades are available on seated menus, from macarons at $7 per person to wood-roasted rock lobster at $78 per person, with caviar service priced on enquiry. Minimum numbers apply. A 1.4% surcharge applies to card payments and a 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.

A single room seats up to 22 guests. Rooms 2 and 3 combine for 22, and all three rooms open into one space for 46 seated. For standing events, the Upper Cocktail Bar holds 40 to 80 and a full venue takeover holds up to 500. All capacities are referenced as maximum configuration.
Seated menus start at $98 per person for the Signature Feasting Menu, with the Guest Choice Menu at $109 and the Steak Menu at $150. Canape packages start at $50 per person with a minimum of 20 guests, and beverage packages start at $50 per person. Your coordinator will confirm the full cost for your event in a written proposal.
Yes. The top floor has its own dedicated bar and an adjacent cocktail lounge, so pre-dinner drinks and post-dinner receptions happen on the same floor as your dining room. Arrival cocktails are $17 each.
Every private dining room has AV capability and dedicated bathrooms. Let your coordinator know what you need for your presentation and they will confirm the detail in your proposal.
Yes, we cater to all special dietary requirements. Please provide these to your event executive no later than 10 days before your event so the kitchen can accommodate them.
Blackbird Melbourne is at Collins Place, 66 Flinders Lane, Melbourne, about two minutes' walk from Parliament Station. First Parking is directly before the venue at 28 Flinders Lane, with weekday, evening, weekend and overnight rates, and discounts through the First Park Express Membership program.
Blackbird Melbourne trades Monday to Saturday from 11:30am until late, and is closed on Sunday.
